چکیده
Mangrove ecosystem in Semarang City has an important role for survival of the coastal area. This is due to function mangroves as a barrier erosion, wave barrier, carbon producer, habitat biota areas, well improving water quality. However, time goes by, condition decreasing every year and causing disasters such erosion tidal flooding which have identically occurred on coast Semarang. area 2020 163,250 Ha. The aim this study determine density from 2013 2022 with Landsat 8 Sentinel 2 satellites. method used classify NDVI or Normalized Difference Vegetation Index. results analysis show that mangrove was 412.889 Ha, while it 142.562 decreased by around 270.327 Ha (65.5%), land conversion into pond recently construction Semarang-Demak sea wall. متن کاملMapping and Attributing Normalized Difference Vegetation Index Trends for Nepal
Global change affects vegetation cover and processes through multiple pathways. Long 1 time series of surface land surface properties derived from satellite remote sensing give unique 2 abilities to observe these changes, particularly in areas with complex topography and limited research 3 infrastructure. Here, we focus on Nepal, a biodiversity hotspot where vegetation productivity is 4 limited...
متن کاملClimate-related vegetation characteristics derived from Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) leaf area index and normalized difference vegetation index
[1] MODIS-based leaf area index (LAI) and normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI) are used to examine detailed information regarding actual growing season and total annual production for various regions. Overall, MODIS LAI has larger variability and demonstrates more information regarding the evolution and structure of the seasonal vegetation characteristics. In contrast, the NDVI saturat...

This paper reports the passive microwave radiometry application for regional assessment of crop growth in India. Brightness temperature (TB) of various vegetation classes observed at 37 GHz using special sensor microwave imager (SSMI) data. during Kharif season in 1 999 in India are analyzed. Vertical as well as hQrizontal polarization brightness temperature is used to derive microwave polariza...
متن کاملResponse of the normalized di erence vegetation index to varying cloud conditions in Arctic tundra environments
Frequent cloud cover is a major environmental constraint to optical remote sensing studies in Arctic locations, including studies based on ground or aircraft observations. The objective of this study was to determine how cloud induced variations in solar illumination a ect the normalized di erence vegetation index (NDVI) of representative vegetation types on the North Slope of Alaska. Illumin...
